Kids Outdoor Sports Camp

About

Kids Outdoor Sports Camp (KOSC) is dedicated to building youngsters’ outdoor skills by engaging them in outdoor sports while instilling in campers an appreciation of wildlife conservation.

KOSC was started over 20 years ago by Judy Oswald in an effort to help her children get a hunter safety certificate. Finding no easily accessible courses, she started KOSC.

KOSC’s four-day, five-night camps teach kids from all over California about the great outdoors and all it has to offer. Youth learn about fishing, conservation, and archery skills. The intensive week includes classroom instruction and field experience. For more information about KOSC and how to sign up for future camps, please visit kidsoutdoorsportscamp.org.

Mzuri Wildlife Foundation is one of the founding supporters of KOSC. Through the years, Mzuri Wildlife Foundation has proudly provided over $400,000 in direct assistance to KOSC.

“Thank you so much for donating money to KOSC so people like me can get scholarships. I had such a great time doing 3D archery and I can’t wait to use my skills out in the field.”
