President's Address

Dear Friends of Mzuri,
As president of the Mzuri Wildlife Foundation I would like to take a moment to thank all of you who attended our Gala 2008 Dinner at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. It was the finest fundraiser we have ever had. Without the support of our Artists, Outfitters, donors and especially all of you who attended we could not have made this happen. Because of your generosity we will be able to expand our wildlife, youth and womens hunting and educational programs, as well as our habitat and conservation efforts. For almost four decades Mzuri has promoted wildlife and conservation efforts both here in North America as well as in Africa. 100% of what is donated goes directly to these programs, there is no paid staff, we are strictly a volunteer organization. Our goal is to finance grass roots programs that offer significant benefits both to the environment and wildlife populations. Youth training and education programs in hunting and conservation as well as encouragement of women in hunting sports are high on our priorities list so that future generations can continue our work.
We ask that you join us in these endeavors either by joining The Friends of the Mzuri or perhaps if you can by attending next years Gala Dinner. Our next event will be held March 28, 2009 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. Please come and join us.
