Mr. Kollitides has over 23 years strategy, finance and leadership experience having served as lead investor, Chairman or CEO of several public, private and non-profit boards, including as a member or chair of both compensation and audit committees.
Mr. Kollitides is currently a Managing Director of A&M Capital Opportunities (www.a-mcapital.com), a middle-market private equity firm, where he sits on the Investment Committee. He also sits on the Boards’ of Tier 1 Group, a special forces training business, adMarketplace, a search advertiser, and Intelligent Decisions, a defense and intelligence services provider. He is a Senior Advisor to the Remington Outdoor Co., one of the world’s largest firearms and ammunition companies, where he previously was Chairman and CEO. Prior to Remington, Mr. Kollitides was a Managing Director at Cerberus Capital Management and early in his career held leadership roles at TenX Capital Management, Catterton Partners, and General Electric.
Mr. Kollitides serves as Vice Chairman of the Orthopedic Foundation for Active Lifestyles, a non-profit focused on orthopedics, where he was honored with the 2010 Leadership Award for Philanthropy and sits on the Good Sports New York Advisory Board. He previously served on the Lafayette College Board of Trustees’ Committee on Financial Policy, as a board member of DOMUS an educational, residential, and community program for vulnerable Connecticut youth and their families and was a volunteer fireman for ten years.
Mr. Kollitides is passionate about the outdoors and conservation and consequently holds numerous life memberships in hunting, shooting, fishing and conservation organizations. Mr. Kollitides serves on the NRA Hunting and Wildlife Conservation Committee, NRA Publications Policy Committee, NRA Task Force on Industry Relations, the NRA Hunters’ Leadership Forum Steering Committee and is a Trustee of the NRA Foundation. He is also a Director of the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association, where he is a Life Member, a Director of the Safari Club International (“SCI”) New York, Tri-State Chapter, where he is also an SCI life member and is one of only 100 Regular Members of the Boone and Crockett Club. Mr. Kollitides was ranked by Sports One Source as one 40 under 40 in the sporting goods industry, was awarded the NY Tri-State SCI 2013 President’s Cup and was the 2014 NRA Executive of the Year. He is a member of the Campfire Club of America, the Mashomack Preserve Club, where he is a member of the Shooting Committee, the Cos Cob Revolver and Rifle Club, and is an Ordensbrother in the International Order of St Hubertus. He previously served on the NRA Nominating Committee, and as a Director of the Connecticut Chapter of SCI.
Mr. Kollitides received an MBA in Finance and Management of Organizations from Columbia Business School in 1998 and a BA in Economics with a Minor in Government and Law from Lafayette College in 1991. Mr. Kollitides is 46 and resides in Connecticut with his wife Karen and their three sons.
