As the founder of Luzich Partners, Michael Luzich brings more than 30 years of investment and development expertise to the firm. Prior to forming Luzich Partners, he founded Peninsula Gaming Partners LLC with an acquisition of a gaming facility generating approximately $16 million of annual EBITDA. Through four greenfield gaming developments and additional acquisitions, the company grew into the largest privately owned gaming company in the United States, producing $205 million of EBITDA in 2012.
In November 2012, the company was sold to a publicly traded gaming company for $1.45 billion plus an earn out – equity investors achieved a return of over 100 times their initial investment.
Prior to founding Peninsula Gaming, Mr. Luzich was founder and president of various real estate and international trading companies. He attended Marquette University and is a graduate of the OPM program at the Harvard Business School.
Michael serves on the Mzuri because he believes that encouraging more women and youth to enter the shooting sports is critical to preserving the vital American tradition of hunting that has been an integral part of our culture for generations. He wants to ensure that future generations enjoy the same sports that he is afforded today.
